For a second year, Quebec City and area will be represented at the Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show by future professionals of the Tourism industry. Indeed, for the 22nd edition of the show at the Shaw Center on April 9th and 10th, Tourism students of CEGEP Limoilou & Champlain St. Lawrence College will promote the Old Capital among 250 other exhibitors.

More than theory

In order to put into practise the knowledge learned during the first two years of their bilingual program, the Tourism students will take control of the Quebec City booth. More than just theory, the students have explored the whole aspects of a consumer show including workshops on how to select a show, the conception of the booth, planning a working schedule and much more. Finally, their goal will be to convince the 17,000 visitors of the Ottawa Travel and Vacation Show why Quebec City and its regions must be their next travel destination.

About the Bilingual Tourism Program

The Tourism DEC is a joint program between CEGEP Limoilou & Champlain St. Lawrence College leading to a bilingual diploma. During their three years, the students build up strong knowledge about the tourism industry, and specifically about the Quebec City area.
